This station of the Ba-gua is located at the front of your dwelling and represents North on the Ba-gua map which you will place upon your space.

The colors associated with this placement are black and blue and the element is water that flows like a river. The animal is a turtle. This is a great place for a rectangular – or better yet – wavy style mirror to be. Any shape that is wavy and rectangular is favored.

What is to be avoided is that of the Earth element, for in the precepts of feng shui, earth dams water and therefore will counter the flow of the metaphorical water, or river. So avoid heavy objects, earth colors and images of mountains, hills and rocks.
