The center of the home is where it all comes together. This area of the Ba-Gua represents harmony, peace and the flow of energy between opposites (yin-yang). Yellow and earth hues are perfect, and circles are a wonderful shape to preside in this area. Because in the destructive cycle of feng shui Wood destroys Earth, this is not a great place for plants or other representations of the Wood element. The center of the house is the perfect place for a kitchen or fireplace.
